Born into two ranching family dynasties, Laurence Lasater felt the call of his destiny as soon as he could pull on his boots. The eldest son of Tom and Mary Lasater, founders of the Beefmaster breed of cattle, Laurence left his family\u2019s ranch in Colorado to establish his own Beefmaster operation in Mexico and later in Texas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
